Ich habe für die Ausstattung meiner neuen Wohnung ein paar Mal einen Transporter gebraucht. Bei Wheego habe ich den unkompliziert leihen können. Abholen und zurück geben ging schnell über die Bühne. Bei der Ausleihe habe ich mich einmal ziemlich verschätzt was die zu fahrenden Kilometer angeht. Wheego hat mir nur die tatsächlichen Kilometer in Rechnung gestellt.
Wegen irgendwelcher Vorschäden gab's keine Probleme (was anderswo berichtet wird).

Nach meiner Google-Rezension wurde jedoch reagiert: Die Rechnung wurde korrigiert – ein Schritt in die richtige Richtung. Jetzt fehlt nur noch die Rückbuchung des zu viel gezahlten Betrags. Daher drei Sterne!

Das Fahrzeug war sauber, und die Online-Abwicklung war relativ unkompliziert. Vor Ort fehlte jedoch die zuvor zugesagte Sackkarre. Die Rückgabe des Fahrzeugs erfolgte an einem Sonntagabend – mit Fotos dokumentiert.

Trotzdem mussten wir elf Tage auf die Abschlussrechnung warten. Dort wurden 30 km mehr berechnet, obwohl alle Fahrten dokumentiert waren. Eine Begründung dafür gab es nicht. Die fehlende Sackkarre wurde bis heute – 14 Tage später – nicht gutgeschrieben.

Auf Nachfrage erklärte eine Mitarbeiterin, sie führe die Niederlassung allein und komme deshalb nicht hinterher. Das mag menschlich nachvollziehbar sein, ändert aber nichts an dem schlechten Service.

Fazit: Absolut nicht zu empfehlen. Was nützt eine saubere Buchung, wenn am Ende falsch abgerechnet wird? Wer hier mietet, muss unter Umständen seinem Geld lange hinterherlaufen. Finger weg!

The entrepreneur also founded the international franchise system Global Rent a Car and expanded the brand into 20 countries worldwide. Following the successful sale of the Buchbinder Group to Europcar, he was responsible for the integration into the Europcar Mobility Group and was appointed Managing Director of Europcar in Germany.
