Unproblematische Buchung über mietwagen-billiger.de. Versicherungspaket wird separat über Ergo verrechnet, was im Gesamtpreis enthalten ist.
Bei der Autovermietung Wheego, Terminal 1, Frankfurt Airport war eine sehr freundliche Mitarbeiterin. Wartezeit mit gut 25 Minuten etwas lang. Auto war in sehr gutem Zustand und es gab keine Probleme. Rückgabe dagegen unorganisiert. Keine wirkliche Abnahme. Nur Sichtung. Kein Beleg, der unterschrieben werden musste. Daher unbedingt Bilder von der Anzeige, Tacho und auch sonstige Bilder vom Auto machen! War danach nochmals zur Anmietstation, um dieses dort mitzuteilen! Ferner wurde ausgesagt, dass das Auto vollgetankt sei. Allerdings war ein Tankbalken nicht da, es fehlten etwas über 6 Liter, bei einem 45 Liter Tank nicht unerheblich. Ich habe vollgetankt. Ergo = 147 km gefahrene Kilometer 14,35 Liter Superbenzin verbraucht. Mein Verbrauch laut Anzeige 5,7 Liter auf 100 km. Kann nur anraten, das zu kontrollieren.

I was initially a bit hesitant to book with Wheego, but the experience turned out to be excellent. The check-in and check-out process was fast and efficient, and the staff attended to me professionally, giving clear instructions every step of the way.

I rented from both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 in Frankfurt and followed their advice to check for any damages before and after the rental. Everything went smoothly—no issues at all. It felt just like renting from any major company. Best of all, the deposit was refunded to my account within 30 minutes of returning the car.

Highly recommend and will definitely rent from them again in the future!

Hubert Terstappen is one of the leading personalities in the mobility industry. He started his own car rental business back in 1987 and expanded throughout Germany. After the merger with Buchbinder, Hubert Terstappen became Managing Director of the Group and developed the company into the fourth-largest mobility provider in Germany and the market leader in Austria with over 30,000 vehicles at 165 locations. The entrepreneur also founded the international franchise system Global Rent a Car and expanded the brand into 20 countries worldwide. Following the successful sale of the Buchbinder Group to Europcar, he was responsible for the integration into the Europcar Mobility Group and was appointed Managing Director of Europcar in Germany. He left the company in 2020 and founded the VCC VENTURES Group and the associated companies share-tec GmbH, mobi-tec GmbH and PARKsmart. In the first financial year, Hubert Terstappen and the wheego team achieved all planned milestones. The Share, Rent, Auto Abo and Car Sales products were successfully launched, the wheego-mobility.com website and the wheego app (iOS and Android) were launched and the first wheego Mobility Stores were opened in Berlin, Hamburg, Vienna and other major cities.
